I had the wonderful experience of Minnow, a beautiful female who loved to blow bubbles under the water. This was my second excursion with Cponies and I highly recommend! Good for all types of riders from novice to experienced.

She was amazing at making sure we felt comfortable with the horses, understood the instructions, had a great time, and she took really good photos. You can tell the horses are well fed & loved. Comment: My wife and I absolutely loved this experience! There were 8 people in the group with Rachel as our guide and we loved hearing the rescue stories of our horses. The horses loved the swimming and blowing water bubbles. We would definitely recommend for all ages. We love supporting animal advocates and these beautiful horses.

Comment: Our group was looking for an experience that would be adventurous, unique, and provide us with an opportunity to soak in this beautiful area of the gulf coast. Cponies Bradenton Beach excursion delivered all of that and more! None of us were experienced riders, and had varying levels of trepidation about being on horseback while swimming in the waters of the bay. Our guide Myah was a superstar in offering clear, easy to follow instructions on how to guide our horses through the water. She shared meaningful stories about each horse and how they came to their rescue operation. We loved getting to know the horses and their individual personalities that shined through during our ride. Knowing that our magical time riding in the bay not only gave us a vacation memory that we will cherish and share (get the pictures!) but also helped to support this rescue work only adds to the fullness of the experience. Thank you to Cponies and Myah for this fabulous opportunity and for the beautiful work you do with these horses.

Comment: My name is Margi and my granddaughter and I rode(and swam with) the horses on January 5, 2024. It was an experience neither one of us will ever forget. Our guide, Lorie, was so helpful and thorough with instructions and the history of the ponies. It was exhilarating!! The pictures taken by her and then sent to us were well worth it. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending CPonies to anyone. If you are thinking it is something you may want to do — go for it. You won’t regret it!!!

Comment: I got two tickets to this aquatic horseback riding experience for my mom and I and it was so memorable. Im very grateful for our guide, Nikki, for somehow managing to perfectly pair my mom and I up to horses that matched with our personalities and for making everything go so smoothly for a beginner rider such as myself. This experience was truly unique and I dont think Ive ever experienced something so uncommon yet ending in such a perfect day spent. The horses are in such great shape both physically and mentally and I can tell they take great care of their horses. My mom loved her present, and I loved seeing her so happy fulfilling one of her most wanted activity to do (since forever, apparently). A ton of memories made, and maybe when it gets warmer we can go again!

I had the honor of riding Gypsy and our guide Nikki was awesome as well. While it was slightly colder out (we went in late Dec.) than expected the overall ride was fun, fabulous, and breathtaking. Comment: C Ponies are great prior to booking the owner called me to answer my questions. We went on Saturday 11/25/23, my 10 year old daughter Abbie had the best day of her life! The bay was crystal clear and had dolphins and manatees in it. The horse Splash and Nemo swam splendidly! The horses are a blessing for the bay and Manatee County! We were just by Anna Maria Island, building memories that will last a lifetime! Lori our tour guide was spectacular and outgoing and friendly.

Our guide, Rachel, was great and told us a lot about how these horses are rescued and rehabilitated. Comment: I took my wife as a surprise gift for our 10 year wedding anniversary.What an experience it was for the both of us. The horses were beautiful and very well taken care of and the trainers/owner were really great. They go over everything with you before and during the experience which made us much more comfortable as first timers. They take beautiful photos for us as we rode the horses in the water to capture the memories. This definitely earned me extra brownie points with the wife. It was a great time and would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Comment: Had an amazing time riding and it was definitely interesting. But one thing is I would not recommend going into that water because there are bugs such as fleas and definitely not a clean water. But I have instect bites all over my body and I am trying to fight it of at the moment.

Comment: My boyfriend and I had a most excellent adventure with Cponies! I have ridden horses quite often, but never before have I had the chance to take one for a swim! The horses were very gentle, and sweet. You are helping the company to rehabilitate abused and injured horses, so it is not just fun, it is great for the animals. Our guide, Lorie was super friendly and fun. She also takes great pictures during the ride that you can purchase afterwards. I would definitely do this again! Thanks so much, Cponies!

Comment: This was a thrilling experience. Horses in the ocean are as close as one can come to riding a seahorse. The horses were gentle and calm and very friendly to their riders. Only one person in our group had real horseback riding experience, but even without it, we had a great time because the guides and instructors were so kind and careful with their time and explanations. It was a peaceful and calming, fun experience to be riding the horses through the water with the backdrop of the sunset. And the photo package immortalized the moment. High recommendation for riders of any level, and for all fun seekers wanting to try something different.

Comment: My boyfriend brought me here as a surprise, its not really horse back riding more of a swim which was so much cooler. Almost all the horses are rescued and they will tell you there storys. Dory was so much fun and has her own spirit, when I come back I forsure would love to ride her again. Be prepared to get wet!!!! Misty was our tour guide and she did a great job.

I wish I could give 6 stars.Boyfriend surprised me with this amazing gift for our anniversary!I’ve never ridden a horse before and was nervous for sure but the guides Misty #2 and Reyna were comforting and silly which made you feel less anxious. The ride and swims were a different experience for us, and the individual horse stories including their backgrounds rounded out a great time. Comment: This was an amazing experience. My husband booked it for out 29th anniversary and we had an amazing time it is truly one of the best experiences i have had. Misty 2 did an amazing job guiding us and ensuring we knew what to do we were a little nervous at first (husband more)LOLBut as time went it was like second nature and she did great ensuring we knew what to do when and ensure we were ok. I cant tank them enough for what they do it truly shows how much passion they have for the horses and job. I am glad we got to experience this and will definitely do it again and plan on taking other family next time!!!! Cant wait to see Bahama which was my house that day again:-) You will not be disappointed this experience is a MUST!!!!!

Comment: Second time my daughter and I have done the C Ponies ride. Absolutely love it. It is so different from other experiences and so relaxing. You can tell the horses are loved and respected. The fact that they are rescues living a safe and fun life makes it even better. I also love that they know their horses well and match them with riders. They also let the horses be who they are and dont force them to perform. It is such a pleasure to do this.And for the record, I am afraid of water and dont swim well, which they take into account. Had a floatie and a horse that went at a nice pace for me. Dont let that deter you from experiencing this joyful and unique time.Thanks to Holly and Maya for another great swim!

Comment: I found a few beach rides online, C Ponies reviews is the reason I chose them and the reviews were not wrong, I cant even begin to explain the amazing experience we had. My husband had never ridden a horse, I had only ridden in Gatlingburg, TN where you pay to ride, Raina explained everything perfectly, she was truly amazing. Get the picture package, pictures are taken all along the ride, some you pose for others are natural. Everyone in our group was amazing also, bring carrots for the horses, they do have food for purchase if you forget (like me), you get to feed them while you are meeting them. DO NOT HESITATE, book now!

Comment: CPonies is worth every penny, not just because it’s one of the most unique experiences I’ve had but also because they do such compassionate work. They deserve all of the support and then some. I loved being able to hear the stories of each of the rescue horses we rode. Knowing that we get to play a role in their healing was such a blessing. Our tour guide Myah was a joy. She is funny, energetic, and so experienced. She knows and loves the horses so deeply, which made her an expert at pairing each of us with a horse that matched our abilities and personalities. It made such a cool experience even cooler. 5 stars, two thumbs up, 10/10.

Comment: My husband and I did the equestrian aquatic adventure with Myah. It was absolutely amazing -- highly recommend! You get to wade through the bay on the horses, then experience them swimming (you will get wet-very refreshing!). CPonies is also a rescue - so your money goes into caring for the horses, and the horses like swimming. We also learned how to stand up on a horse. Id do it again in a heartbeat!

Comment: Fun, romantic and excellent way to spend your day in Bradenton! Our guide Raina was informative and knowledgeable. The ride was good, we got to stand on our horse and did some swimming, on horseback. Unfortunately the bay water was really disgusting as I thought it would be but maybe a little worse. We went at 5:30 so the sun was going down and we got some good pictures. I would definitely recommend this activity to anyone looking to do something a little different. I love the fact that all the horses were rescued from bad conditions.

Comment: Enjoyed a thrilling beach horseback ride with Cponies. Hubby and I always wanted to take advantage of this great activity and we are glad we did. Our beautiful and gentle horses Minnow and Skittles worked hard to make us happy during the horse swim. Nikki our guide made us feel safe and shared history about these wonderful rescue horses. In July the water was too warm for my taste although we had a nice breeze. Next time will go in Spring or Fall.

Comment: Great experience and I love that the horses are all rescued. They are treated well and it seems as though they do enjoy swimming which is easier on their joints. Nikki the guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The experience was amazing, but the only gripe I have is the sign to find it was covered up by their truck. Emails sent out state their are other companies by the water which made it hard for us to find even with their GPS instructions. Second gripe I had was it said to not wear flip flops, so my husband and I rushed to get some water shoes and thought we wouldnt make it on time due to the statement of get there 15-20 minutes earlier. To find out others had flip flops and werent turned away. We rushed to get there and when we did we were told we had plenty of time and even left after our scheduled time. Other than that it is a must do event.

We booked a ride for 4 and it was only us in our ride group. 2 of our riders show/ride horses regularly, I have some experience from growing up riding and 1 of us was a beginner. Rachel, our guide was incredibly sweet and knowledgeable she made us all feel very welcome and comfortable matching us perfectly with our experience level and horse. You can tell that they truly love the horses and this isnt just a money making business for them. I Recommend getting the picture package for memories so that you dont have to worry about your own devices. Along our ride we were told about each of our horses and their background, which made us appreciate them so much more. Each horse is a rescue and have their own story of perseverance and are now living their best life. You will not regret this experience or choosing C Ponies as your guide! Comment: My mom and I went there earlier today as first time horse riders. We had the absolute BEST time! The horses are SO well behaved and you can tell they enjoy what they’re doing. They seem to know the routine pretty well which helped us first time riders.My favorite part is how much the staff love and care about these horses. 90% are rescue horses and they have nursed them from being almost killed to thriving. The staff even takes a percentage from their own pay to donate right back to the horses.I plan on taking all my friends and family that come to visit to this excursion. I neednt have worried, though, because they asked about our experience and comfort level and matched each of us up with just the right horse. They gave me the sweetest, gentlest girl named Splash, and I barely had to do anything...she followed her best friend Nemo and clearly knew the routine. Riding them in the water was a once in a lifetime experience for us, and seemed therapeutic for the horses. I would recommend this outfit, C Ponies to anyone even if you have never been on a horse before. They provide helmets and life jackets if you want one but really not needed. We swam with the horses for an hour and what a fabulous therapeutic experience of a lifetime. The water wasn’t too deep so in some spots the horses could stand and we were not far from shore so put your doubts and fears aside because anybody could try it no matter your experience level with horses or swimming. It is worth the adventure!

Comment: I booked C Ponies for my partner’s birthday and it far exceeded our expectations. Riding with these absolutely majestic and well cared for horses is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Check in was easy. Instructions were thorough. You can tell they want you to have an incredible experience while ensuring the horse’s safety is in the forefront. I love the fact they didn’t make the horses do anything they didn’t want to do. Misty, our guide, was attentive and so much fun. We are already planning to ride again. Comment: Amazing time riding with Nicky & Maya (sp?). I am an experienced rider and trail guide. Came with my Mum who is an experienced, but now older, rider. The horses were fabulous - I love that theyre mostly rescues. Safety meeting before you ride - love to see that. We had 2 young kids on our ride and horses and staff were all great with them. Photo package was totally worth every penny - plenty of great photos shared with us shortly after our ride. Thankyou for a wonderful experience!

Comment: Words cannot describe what a wonderful experience we all had with CPonies. This was a birthday trip for my husband and we included our son and his girlfriend. Prior to us going, we did have to cancel a few times due to weather conditions. Every time I had called for a question, the staff was always kind and very informative. Our guide Rachel was absolutely amazing. She made all of us feel comfortable. She was so considerate too as she was able to match the perfect horse with all of our comfort levels. We were all amazed as to how quickly she was able to do that. Also, Rachel’s knowledge about each of the horses and their stories about them made this experience even better. She was so kind to all of us. I cannot say enough about her. We absolutely loved the experience. Incredible horsemanship was displayed by her and absolute comfort was provided to ALL riders...novice to advanced.The MISSION of these young ladies and their rescue ranch is tremendous and incredibly noble. Swimming and being in the water is part of their therapy and you can be part of that experience! The staff is so great. They are nice, professional, and funny! Comment: This was such an amazing experience for our family! Myah was our guide and she was so sweet, patient and fun. Some of us didnt have any previous experience and she helped us all feel comfortable and have so much fun. She told us the touching stories behind each of these beautiful horses and we all bonded with our horses sweet, unique personalities so quickly. Ive had chronic back pain for the last 10 years and was finally feeling well enough to give this a try and Im so glad I did. At first I was a little nervous but became more and more comfortable throughout the ride and definitely fell in love. It was gentle on my spine and very therapeutic. We are so grateful to have made these awesome memories together as a family and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Comment: The staff at C Ponies Beach Horses is just outstanding. Misty was our guide, she was friendly, patient, and just wonderful. She made our day very memorable. My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary, they gave us a thank you card and wished us a happy anniversary in it. Very sweet. The staff is friendly, they get some quick facts about you and pair you with the most fitting horse. All their horses have unique personalities and even though they are rescued, they are so friendly and loving. Pearl was my husbands horse, she makes bubbles under water :) and at the end when he got off her, she said goodbye to him (put her face against his and allowed him to love on her), it was very special. We will definitely come back, hopefully for a sunset tour next time.

Comment: Yes, I proposed to my girlfriend (now fiancée lol) while we did this ride. The staff was phenomenal in helping me set this up and although I was super nervous, it was SPECTACULAR!!! Besides the proposal part, which was at the end, the entire C Ponies adventure was great. I highly recommend it to everyone. Mya was our guide in the water for the ponies, and she was great. Comment: Amazing experience, unforgettable fun, incredible humanity! This ride was part of the birthday present to a great anniversary of my mom. She was riding a horse first time in her life and both of us were swimming with the horses of course first time in our lives. During the small stop in the middle of the bay our amazing guide Alex told us the story of survival of all our horses, all rescued and brought back to enjoying life. I can highly recommended this attraction (we did it in Bradenton on Manatee street passing through the bay) to probably all ages from 7 to 100! Super safe, super comfortable. Great and knowledgeable guides. Most of the money you pay for this attraction are spent on rescuing other beautiful Gypsy Horses and taking care of already the saved ones.

Didn’t know we were actually going to swim with them!!Ambra was our guide this afternoon, so incredibly sweet and made us both feel super comfortable for the ride. I seriously can’t recommend this enough, even if I did get kicked by the horse my husband was riding. Totally our faults for being too close when we got to let them “take off” and swim farther in deeper water. All is well!! Stella was the sweetest horse!Seriously the best surprise he could have given my for our anniversary trip! I asked him, “if I pay and book the reservation tomorrow, can we come back?!?”.I would drive from Chattanooga, TN to do this every year if we could!

Comment: An amazing adventure...the horses are specially trained horses and provide a unique horseback riding experience.The trainers explain the riding and how to reign the horses after each horse selection for specific rider is made and then once mounted the trainer leads the group in a single file line into the water. You will get wet!The horses actually swim, which is quite thrilling, and the best part of the ride is if you were to fall off (you wont), you fall in the water instead of on the hard ground.Definitely something to put on your bucket list!

Comment: We had the best experience at C Ponies Bradenton! Victoria was our wonderful guide and the other staff working, Nikki and Myah, were also very helpful. Were beginners but each step of the way we were clearly given direction. We learned the backstory of each of the horses we rode with and its very obvious that they are treated with love and care since being rescued. This unique experience is well worth the price and a must-do while in the area!
