Comment: This is an out of the way gem! Beautiful property and Terri is a perfectionist in keeping the barn and tack rooms clean and organized. Lots of big fans to keep horses and people cool. Music always playing. No drama. The farm is self sustainable, so they use everything that comes from the earth i.e., bahai grass and hay, planted rye grass in the winters. Sam is a third generation master trainer. Maddie, the daughter, runs the operations along side Sam and Terry. The pastures are massive and each stall has an attached paddock for your horse to go in and out of his or her stall freely. I drive an hour to get there, but it’s worth it bc I have complete trust in how they care for my horse when I’m not there. They also have a successful trail riding business and have 20 to 30 horses. I want to add that I have not seen one horse out there that is overweight nor do I see ribs showing. The stalls are always clean. These folks really know what they are doing. And lastly, the price to board is right!

Comment: This was a wonderful time with my two daughters for Mother’s Day. This is a fantastic place to ride and relax. Terri and Sam really care about their horses. They take time to make sure you are comfortable with the horse before riding. I highly recommend this place and we will be back for another ride.

Comment: Very beautiful, family owned stables with 120 acres of trail riding through forest paths, or clear, grassy openings with breathtaking view. My daughter and I went together. There were two instructors that stayed with us the whole ride. Very friendly, we chatted the whole ride. We started out first in a round-pen walking and trotting the horses to get use to them and learn how and what cues the horses are trained.Hands down, one of the best places to ride!Thank you Lacy, the beautiful, well behaved horse I had the pleasure of riding! 💕

Comment: When my daughter asked to go on a trial ride for her 10th birthday, I had no idea how much we both would enjoy the whole experience. The horses were calm and mellow. The trails throughout the property were beautiful. The guides were very kind and accommodating. They made us feel like we were right at home. I’ve been on other trail rides before and they don’t even come close. I would recommend Deep Creek Stables to anyone and everyone! Looking forward to next time!

The family that owns the stable couldnt be nicer people. Terry and daughter Madison were professional, super friendly and chatted with us along the trail ride. Comment: I visited a lot of stables over the years but this one is absolutely on the top of all, these people are really nice. They let me ride fast of course after they tried me. This stable stays deep in my heart and I will return every time when I’m in this area again

Comment: Terry and Annette were so professional, knowledgeable and helpful. They made sure I knew how to ride by first letting me ride the horse in the ring and gave me detailed instructions. We went on the trail ride that was so beautiful and peaceful. I have been on many horseback trails with many companies but this one is THE BEST by far!

Comment: This was going to be a very special day for me and my two daughters, so I searched and I searched and there were quite a few choices close to where we are staying, so making a decision wasnt easy. We chose Deep Creek Stables because once I texted them, communication was fluid and they made me feel at ease when I told them that one of my daughters was quite nervous about riding and of horses in general, but that my other daughter and I are both riders and would enjoy a more advanced ride. When we arrived for our ride, and were walking up, we were greeted by different people and a beautiful dog. We felt that we had made a good decision just by seeing friendly, happy faces on animals and people alike. My daughters were provided helmets and I was given a choice. Madison (owner) explained to us that once she was done with giving us some basics and pointers, we would come into the ring to make sure that we were all comfortable on our horses. Thank God for that because my one daughter was nervous as a tick on an opossum. Ten minutes later, we were joined by Terri (owner and Madisons mom) & all of us started out on our most fantastical ride! My rider daughter and I were able to canter, while my beginner felt comfortable enough to give trotting a try...towards the end of our ride. I couldnt believe it! None of us could! The scenery was breathtaking; our guides were beyond knowledgeable, fun and friendly and we will forever be grateful to have made this most beautiful of memories...together. Thank You from every pore of my being! Best Choice! Three days later....Guess who went back for more! Yep! We did! So much fun! Since I can only add to my existing review, I can tell you all that if we were staying any longer, wed be back again! Ive done dozens of trail rides in my life and Ive never returned, until now. That should tell you something. Oh, and well be back...The next time we visit Florida.

Comment: My wife and I recently completed a trail ride at Deep Creek and it went above and beyond my expectations! My wife has been involved with horses her entire life and now I am suddenly showing interest in it. She suggested we do a trail ride together and we chose Deep Creek Stables. We both had a wonderful time! Terri and Madison were beyond professional and went above and beyond to answer any and all questions we had!

Comment: First time horse back riding for my moms birthday, and it was a great first experience! The trainers showed us how to ride the horse and made sure we were nice and comfortable before going out on our trail ride. Despite the humidity and bugs, it was a lovely ride, and the property was beautiful and spacious. Will definitely be going again!

Sams experience and patience in teaching a rider to become confident and aware of what signals we are giving the horse and why the horse is responding the way it is, makes you feel like you are really learning every time you ride. Comment: A pleasure all around! The family that owns and operates the farm are friendly and completely professional, and they know their horses! The property is rustic and beautiful.Sam is very patient with new people who may be timid and will have them riding in no time, and knowledgeable enough to assist even seasoned riders wih helpful tips.While visiting in February, we saw a few calves born and one had to be nursed to its feet after a rough start with much love from the family.We fed the animals, did some skeet shooting and had an overall great time. Thumbs up!

I love going there to spend time at the wonderful scenery they have. Wonderfull trail rides, lessons and everything else is just wonderful.

Comment: What a great ride!! The horses were awesome and the guides were great. Dont let the dogs scare you they bark but are really friendly. We did see a small deer and a vulture on the ride. Google maps was not correct but I just sent the request to have it updated and the signs to the entrance are kind of hard to see.
