Comment: Excellent experience I took my 8 year old here on two separate occasions and she fell in love with horses and the farm she even picked a trail ride over Disney for her birthday! The staff is very knowledgeable about the farm and they have kindest young ladies that work there, I highly recommend this farm for a trail ride!

Comment: I would highly recommend this place to any level rider. My daughter wanted to go ride a horse for her birthday I called the morning of and they got us in that afternoon. My daughters first time on a horse and our tour guide was awesome and very insightful on the ranch and helping my daughter feel comfortable on her big horse. Comment: Sierra was a wonderful guide on Thursday ! It was my nephews first long ride and it was just the three of us. It was really special. I think he had a great time and Siera and I talked the whole time. It didnt hurt that we have a horse named Sierra too ! I have ridden at this stable for as long as I can remember .I came to Jacksonville in 1984 .

Comment: Was a chaperone for a school field trip. The staff was nice and informative. They were well organized and kept the different classes at different activities so each activity was not over crowded. The kids loved feeding the bison, cows, fish, and goats.

Comment: Wonderful 2-hour trail ride from start to finish. Very friendly and helpful staff, well cared-for horses, beautiful relaxing ride. A little pricey, but worth it for the experience. We have ridden trail horses several times and this was by far, the BEST! Easy to make reservations, they sent confirmation email and a reminder. Signage on site was clear where to park. Did not like wearing helmets, but it was for insurance reasons we were told. Definately recommend jeans and sunscreen/hat, etc. Highly recommend!

Comment: Went trail riding around 10AM before the day got to hot. Enjoyed the ride. It included 4 other riders. The guide was very knowledgeable of the ranch as well as all the horses. Shared some interesting information about horses and how long she had worked for the ranch. Since there were 5 riders in all we couldnt always hear what she was saying as she was in front leading us. However, the horses seemed to know the trail and were well-behaved. It was fun making a first time memory with some others. When you sign up to go, one form you have to fill out is height and weight. That is more for the horses benefit so the right person can be matched up with the right size horse.

Comment: I came here as a field trip for my elementary students and my God, it was a blast! We had amazing time. The staff clearly know what they are doing and accommodate to the childrens needs/wants. The kids at my school can present their challenges but the staff was fully prepared for them. Students were so engaged in everything they were doing. Highly recommend this place for kids (and adults. I also had fun haha). Comment: I went out to Diamond D Ranch for the Diamonds in the Rust Spring Market. Aside from getting a little lost getting there, it was a great time! The ranch staff were really nice, directed with parking and very helpful. While getting shuttled into the ranch, the tractor driver gave us a brief tour about the ranch, events and animals. Ill definitely be heading out there for another market weekend!

She stopped and helped with horses when necessary and hipped us to the Market they have every quarter. Comment: We were at the Diamonds in the Rust event this morning at the ranch and my wallet slipped out of my back pocket while on the transportation tram. I noticed it missing at the ticket booth. I spoke to the “man in charge” (he knows who he is 😊). He promptly got on his radio to the drivers and drove me back to the parking area in his gator. Word spread quickly amongst the staff. A very honest lady had found it on the tram and had given it to a staff member on horseback at the welcome gate. Thank you to all of the very helpful and polite staff members at the ranch today. Your concern meant a lot to me! And a heartfelt thank you to the honest woman who turned it in! Y’all made my day!

Comment: Took my daughter on a two hour trail ride here. It wasnt as exciting as I hoped for as we are both experienced with horses. It seems geared for completely inexperienced riders or people that just want to sit on the horse. I say that because the horses were so well trained and well behaved that the rider doesnt have to do much of anything, they just go and stop when theyre supposed to. The first hour we rode through a neighborhood with dirt roads, the second hour was going on trails through the woods. The scenery was nice, the staff was very friendly and the horses were great. I recommend the two hour trail ride as I would have been highly disappointed with just riding down a dirt road.

Comment: Went as a chaperone on a field trip. It was well organized (people telling you where to park, what activity to go to next, etc). For an outdoor experience, it was clean. A lot of these types of places have mud pits and garbage, but this property was gorgeous and even the nature walk was do-able after a day of hard rain. Lots of activities and very educational; including a wagon ride, animal feeding and petting, bounce house and play area, pavilion for snacks/lunch, and pony rides. A beautiful setting for a wedding or other event. Looking forward to taking my family for more fun!

Dont be put off by the run down appearance (pandemic was hell on everyone) as the horses are well cared for and healthy and thats really all that counts on a ranch, I guess.

Comment: We had a great time at Diamond D ranch. They have lots of horse. The 2 hour ride went by the ranch and then through Jennings State Forest. The guides had some great stories and did keep it interesting.Its what you would expect of a trail ride in FL. Was surprised they had some elevation changes.There was no cantering or trotting. These are old retired horses with just a little walk in them.The horses are nose to tail the entire ride. You also get put in a line because some of the horses are cranky and cant be next to each other.They have a nice easy mounting and dismounting platform, so even someone with stiff legs and not strength can get on and off.The ride through the ranch is fun as they have some animals like bison, pigs, and an emu that you get to see as you go through.I would definitely recommend.Edit: we tipped our guide, but it was not asked for or even expected. That was a really nice change for once.

Comment: We visited Diamond D Ranch 7-18-20 to take a 2 hr trip for my blind wifes Birthday. The staff were previously informed of my wifes disability and when we arrived were already prepared with a game plan to make this day an absolutely amazing one. My sister in law had never been on a horse in her life and they made sure that the guide put her on a horse that was known for his gentleness to ease her worries. Our guide was amazing and extremely knowledgeable of the history of the ranch and was always willing to answer any questions. This was our 1st visit and will definitely not be our last. Our thanks go out to everyone at Diamond D Ranch for such an amazing day.

Comment: We had an amazing time. The staff were very kind and understanding when it came to novice riders. They pair the riders with their horses. All the animals were clean and healthy. The trails were very easy and beautiful scenery throughout. Our guides were awesome and made the ride just that much better. They made it a point to educate everyone about each individual horse that they were on. Very knowledgeable young ladies. Thank you Diamond D for the memories that will be with us forever. Gentle ride and easy to guide even for a newbie like me. We plan to come back.Update: March 2020 We came back for spring break. We had a coupon from a local magazine and the management honored it. Same great experience during an hour ride. I cant say enough good things about this place!

Comment: Had our wedding ceremony in front of the big oak tree right in front of the barn and had the reception under the pavilion. We got so many compliments all night on how beautiful the location was. The staff at diamond d was amazing and answered all and any question we had. They were eager to please and wanted the day to be everything the bride and groom wanted. The wedding coordinator was on top of everything and made sure to follow the timeline giving to them from bride and groom. Would recommend to any couple wanting a barn style wedding.

Comment: Highly recommended. This was an amazing experience. Warm and friendly customer service in every aspect. The guide was outstanding; she went above and beyond to ensure we created lifelong memories. The atmosphere around the entire ranch is indescribably laid back and completely relaxing; that is, until someone scratches Batmans belly! The horses are incredible well trained. The two hour ride is definitely worth it- just the right amount of time and shaded trail on a hot day. My daughter has already asked twice when were going back. A++ all around.

Comment: We did two Spartans here and it was amazing. The terrain is everything Florida has to offer. We were met by men on horses directing traffic. Is beautiful scenery. I know they offer horse riding weddings parties field trips. They have a petting zoo that includes Buffalo Lambs horses ponies donkeys. It is an absolutely owe inspiring property. Our kids had a blast we had a blast. Id highly recommend this place to others

They rode ponies and went on an adventure hike. They also had bounce houses and a petting zoo. The place for the picnic type lunch was gorgeous! I could totally see a wedding being held here too!
