Comment: This is my second time riding with florida beach horses and i have loved it both times. i love that you get a one-on-one guide with every horse and it really feels like an experience for you. I rode Naomi the first time around & then had Alibi the second, Alibi was by far my favorite, i like how he lead a lot. they really do a great job of making sure they capture great pictures of you during the ride and i love having that to look back on.

Comment: Such an amazing experience!!My friend and I did the water tour.Loved the experience from start to finish.I love that they provided a waterproof phone case to buy and it wasn’t overpriced!The guides Ashley and Alice were simply amazing.They were very good at taking our photos and getting all the good angles while we were out in the water. We had awesome photos for after which is so nice since it was hard to be the photographer that day.The tide was higher than usual.I went barefoot which was completely fine, in hindsight I would have wanted to wear water shoes, but I didn’t think that through - a personal preference.The walk through the water was beautiful and such a unique experience.The tool is down the beach and then we u-turned and walked back the other way.When we got to the halfway point they took a break and we were allowed to try and stand on the saddle.I always love doing new things so I really enjoyed this.Then they took the group on two swims where we road the horse out into the water and road it while they were swimming! The guides were very good at teaching and showing us what to do, and or do.Sparkles was the horse I road and she was just amazing! I had a great ride and we created a nice bond in a short little time. All the horses were very sweet.That was such an exhilarating fun experience!!Definitely something I’ll never forget and would love to do again!!10/10 recommend!

Comment: Best day ever! The sand and surf experience was packed full of different things to do on horse back. So much more than a trail ride. Any riding level is welcome, but for this experienced rider it was not a disappointment. Bucket list item-check. Shout out to the guides, who were very nice and welcoming. Bigger shout out to Ava. You made our day memorable. Thank you 🙏🏻

Comment: I had such an amazing time with the Florida Beach Horses! My guide Alison was very knowledgeable and made for an extra special experience! We got to see some dolphins while on the horses, one of my favorite activities we did was horse skiing! Definitely recommend this place and hope to come back soon!

Comment: Ashley and Tre were AMAZING guides. They were very attentive to all riders and very communicative. HIGHLY recommend this tour. All experience levels are welcome and they really took care of the riders in our group who had never ridden before. We did the 100% water ride and it was FUN for those with experience and a comfortable adventure for those without. Definitely not a push button ride. Horses were in INCREDIBLE shape, pampered, and loved their job. We were paired with Conga and Wahoo and they were so excited to go to work. Horses are rescues and this company continues to care for them through through their retirement. Incredibly ethical and caring people. Well done!*Note* Horses are animals with complex herd dynamics and preferences for companionship. The very few low reviews for this company highlight that. A few mares were rescued from overbreeding facilities and do NOT like others near their rump. This is completely understandable and this company cares greatly about keeping all horses happy and comfortable in their surroundings. Follow the guide directions, place notes OR CALL in the bookings if you have a large group that wants photos together. They will do their best to accommodate with the proper horse/rider pairings. The personalities of these horses shine and they are very confident that their preferences are going to be respected. As someone who works in equine rescue, this company is doing everything right for both the consideration of their horses personalities and for the enjoyment of their guests. I will absolutely be a patron again in the future and have recommended this experience with all of my equine friends!

Comment: This was an amazing experience! The guides were super knowledgeable about the horses and you can tell they spend a lot of time with the horses as well. We saw tons of dolphins during out adventure which was a plus! The horses were so well mannered. I would recommend this experience 10/10

Comment: This is a great experience. The horses were beautiful and well kept. We paid over $730 to be there (close to Disney prices for an 1 1/2 hours. Which we didn’t mind paying at all! It truly is a wonderful experience. The lead guide or owner definitely leaves a sour memory with questioning our gratuity. They say they get paid like waitress’s, but the amount charged is not cheap. There are better ways of asking for gratuity adding on to the fact that this is not cheap for the hour. The lead guide said after a $50 dollar tip is that all you’re tipping?? Really??? A wonderful way to ruin our perception of the experience. 2nd time but won’t be back.

Comment: Hands down one of the coolest and most fun things weve ever done! Im an experienced rider and my boyfriend had never been on a horse. They catered to both of our riding levels. I wouldve never expected the sand and surf ride to be as fun as it was. The horses are well behaved and beautiful. Each person gets their own guide and I love how the guides were so great about taking pictures. I got plenty of frame worthy pictures. Everyone had such a great attitude and you can tell they all truly love horses and their work! I recommend the waterproof phone case so you can take pictures from your phone. Definitely one of the best activities to do in Florida!

Comment: Loved going here! I’m a horse rider, and while we didn’t get to canter (due to high tide) we still went into the water and swam with the horses! The guides are super friendly and there’s a guide per person that’ll be with you at all times. Such a fun experience and highly recommend doing to photo package! I did the RAW package and edited the photos.

Comment: What an amazing experience!We got to canter down the beach, swim with the horses, went “skiing” and even “surfing.” It was so fun to celebrate our birthdays this way.My daughter and I have very sensitive hearts to how horses are treated. Fortunately, our friend wholeheartedly recommended this company and we were thrilled with the experience. These are all rescue horses who now have a safe and fun life where they still get a “job” to do. It was obvious they were enjoying themselves and are treated extremely well. Comment: First time back on a horse in 40 years and this was the best experience ever! We had a diverse group including a child celebrating her birthday. Our guides were Trey and Heather and we were on Hoss, Jezaamae and Rowdy! The day was perfect, the water a nice temperature. The guides were patient, knowledgeable and friendly. It was easy to see that they loved the horses and their job! It was also easy to see that the horses were well cared for and enjoyed having riders. I would highly recommend Florida Beach Horses for anyone who is looking for something special and unique to do as I am certain you will find joy the day you go. Comment: Wonderful experience. Beautiful horses. Would do it again.Could be a little more professional / better organized. Was charged some fees they couldnt explain at booking. I overlooked it. Received a text the day of asking us to be there 15 min early. But we arrived and found noone around until 30 min after our start time. Once they arrived, no intro, communication, instructions, apology or explanation for running late given. We just stood around scratching our heads, they asked our names and then suddenly began mounting the horses. It was a bit confusing as to what was going on at first. Maybe a short intro and what to expect before the ride would be useful, before mounting. In fairness maybe they rushed through it because they were running behind, but I couldnt say. It made for an awkward start. And they simply didnt acknowledge being 30 min behind schedule at all. It did ultimately shorten the ride, which was supposed to be 1.5 hours but was maybe just a couple min over 1 hour instead.Once we were in the water, it was wonderful. Couldnt hear one word the front guide said the entire ride from the back but, enjoyed the ride all the same. The guide in the back didnt really say much and I was fine with that too. Not sure what I was missing up front though. She did a lot of talking that I couldnt hear.My horse, Naomi, didnt feel like doing the swim that day. So she didnt, lol. She turned back early both times despite me following their instructions, kicking, clicking, pulling right, all of the above. She just wasnt having any of it. I forgive her, lol. She was a little diva.Overall a great experience. Theres some room for improvement which is why Im being soecific but it didnt ruin the great time in the water with the wonderful horses by any means! Theres just nothing else like it

Comment: This is our absolute must every time we come to Florida. My girls love their experience with FBH. We’ve had the pleasure of riding 4 different beautiful horses and each one was absolutely wonderful with the kids. The guides are all amazing and comforting to calm any nerves they may have. My son is finally old enough and he’ll be riding the next time. We can’t wait to be back to ride again. A definite must if you’re in the area.

Comment: We went on the Cruise Ride with riders ages 11 to 75. All had a great time and Ava and Chrissy were fun guides. We brought a waterproof phone case, and they took pictures for us on the ride. Expect to be asked for more gratuity if you do not give enough (and not in a very nice way). This was the only part of the experience that we didnt really appreciate.

Comment: We had a truly magical and unforgettable experience with Florida Beach Horses for my birthday. It is an absolute must-do when in the Sarasota-Bradenton area. We did the sunset ride and swim and it was beautiful. All of the staff were amazing, and they genuinely wanted to make sure we had a great time. Special shout-outs to our horses and their guides: Jenn & Jezamay and Malick & Hoss. Also, our photographer Kim (recommended on their website) was phenomenal. She was so nice and she wanted to get amazing shots of us, which she accomplished! I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.

Comment: My family and I did the sunset cruise. Our guides were Heather, Trey, Malik and Phillip. They were amazing! Ava, our photographer did a wonderful job with our pictures and video. I cant say enough about this experience. My daughter, son and I were able to stand on the horses in the water and we all skied behind them as they ran. The race back to the beach was so much fun! The experience with my 2 children and husband was unforgettable. I cant remember seeing a more beautiful sunset!We cant wait to do this again! Thank you to everyone at Florida Beach Horses

Comment: I live in Illinois, but I am here in Florida visiting my grandparents for a week. This was an amazing experience! The horses are trained very well, and the guides are amazing. I rode Rowdy and my guide was Holly. She was so nice and we talked a lot! I loved that it was interactive and you did activities such as horse skiing and horse surfing. It was so much fun and I highly recommend!

Comment: Went and did the beach ride here, and it was AMAZING 🤩 I am a experienced rider so I even got to canter along the beach. Just note that you have to ask when you get there so that they can give you a horse that will canter. After taking lots of pictures on the beach we headed into the water where many activity choices were given. You can also stand on the horse in the water, but there is a weight limit. Each rider gets there own horse and own guide that walks along side of you at all times. The guides are all super nice and try to make everything possible so that you can have an amazing experience. Also note that you should bring a waterproof case for your phone because if you don’t you will not get pictures in the water. Loved the experience and would always come back!
