Comment: My experience with happy trails was an absolute 10/10 experience, the trails to the beach was my favorite part with the beach being a bonus cherry on top. The staff where incredibly nice and helpfull making my first experience with horses an amazing memory.

Comment: My sister and I had a wonderful time with Happy Trails Horsebackriding! The family owned 2nd generation local business showed respect and caring for the riders and horses! So enjoyable riding the Sandy trail through jungle and even the surf on a shell strewn beach I perfect weather! Our smiles matched my horse’s name, “Joy”!

Comment: My sister and I had a fantastic ride over Thanksgiving. We’re both inexperienced riders. Lee welcomed us as soon as we arrived and introduced us to Nikki, our guide. Both oriented us with our lovely mares before we hit the trail near Amelia Island State Park. I had a great time riding the sweet, but spirited Joy. Star gently carried my sister on her first ride in many years. The forest trail was muddy in a few spots due to rain earlier in the day, but it added to the fun and challenge. The beach portion of the ride was magnificently scenic and the horses, like us, really seemed to enjoy walking along the surf. Thanks Nikki and Lee for a great experience! I highly recommend Happy Trails.

Comment: I was on a ride on 9/15 as a last minute add on substitute because two people canceled less than 1.5 hours before their ride, stating they felt it was too windy and it was spitting rain.There were two other customers on that ride too. It wasnt much more windy than normal at Peters Point, let alone 22mph winds. It sure wasnt raining nor were there fully grey skies and we even got to see the start of a beautiful sunset on our way back. It was a great day for a beach ride and so glad I was invited enjoy it. Too bad the other folks didnt make their ride, they missed out. See photo of awesomeness!Thanks Nikki for being a great Guide.

Comment: We greatly enjoyed our time riding Duke and Coin on the beach! It was cold but so peaceful! Our guide, Stan was very nice and helpful and the horses were great. This was a bucket list item for me and Im so glad we did it! The only thing that would improve the experience would maybe be a photo opportunity where the guide could take a picture of us on the horses on the beach.Also a heads up, you may be sore afterwards and the next day.

And you get to control your horse and actually ride it, as opposed to just staying single file and moseying down the beach. this was a wonderful experience.

When I arrived, the horses were all tacked up and ready to go, and the helmets were sanitized. My experience with this instructor and the horses was amazing!

We appreciate the effort by the whole team to work around the rain and get us a ride in while we were visiting for the weekend. Comment: On our 2nd visit to Amelia Island, I booked a sunset ride on the beach with Happy Trails Walking Horses as a Valentines Day gift for my sweetie. She loved it! Our guide, Zu Zu, went out of her way to make sure we had a good time. And the horses, Tennessee Walkers, were a joy to ride. They were very gentle and have a gait that was easy to handle, even for an inexperienced rider like me.
