Comment: What a Wonderful Fun time we had riding together! The owner, Shirley, was also our Trail Guide and she was experienced, safe and full of cool facts about riding and the many plants and wildlife on the trail. The flowers were beautiful and the weather was perfect. All of the horses were very well-trained. They knew exactly what to do, so it made everything easy and fun! The low cost of $50 for 90mins cant be beat either. Well definitely go riding here again 😊

Comment: I spent many months volunteering and helping out here, the owner (Shirley) is an old school cowgirl who knows her horses in and out and everything about them. She is a very knowledgeable woman and anybody would learn a lot from her.. its upsetting to see bad reviews on here from folks who are just ignorant.Weight is important for you and the horses safety and is why it is noted, common sense should be expected by anybody.Furthermore, she would not and does not treat any of her horses badly or would trail them if they werent in condition to do so.This is a great place to go for a peaceful trail ride and learn something.

Comment: If you want a real experience through nature and horseback riding this is a great place to go. The price can’t be beat as she supplies bug spray and water bottles with the rides being an hour and a half long. She runs the place herself and is doing an impressive job in my book. I took my sister for her 18th birthday and it was a great experience. All you have to do is ask questions and she’ll have answers.

Comment: My older daughter treated her sister and I to a ride here over the weekend while we were visiting from out of state. It was the best experience Ive ever had on a trail ride. Shirley was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable and she knows how to match up a horse to a rider. Beginner, intermediate, expert, it didnt matter. She had horses for everyone. It was a very enjoyable, relaxing and stress free ride. Well worth the money for a beautiful ride and scenery.

Comment: This was such an awesome experience! I have done shorter trail rides in the past but this one was long enough to get the full experience. We went through some awesome trails and I learned a lot. We also got the chance to trot and run on the horses which was so much fun! I absolutely recommend this experience.

Comment: My sister and I had an amazing experience on our ride! We are both beginners and the ride was tailored to that. We had gentle horses that were easy to guide. All of the horses, dogs, feral cats, chickens, etc. were obviously very well cared for. Shirley is awesome!!! She is a very kind woman who knows her stuff! The trail was beautiful. We saw some wildlife like a gator, raccoon, and gopher tortoise. The entire experience from making the reservation to the actual ride to the final payment was very smooth and pleasant. I will be back with a friend and maybe my husband if I can get him on board.

Comment: Shirley is a great host. Very knowledgeable and shared her experiences with us. The trail was very rustic as most of the trail is county jail land which they don’t seem to care too much about, which is why you’ll see debris from various events. The horses we rode were a mix between down right sleepy to tired of working for the day but that is not a representation of Shirley or her horses in anyway, it just means horses will be horses. Overall, an awesome experience and well worth the price.

Comment: I called early in the week to reserve two horses but then later on in the day I had to reserve two more horses. Shirley returned my call and was able to book the four horses for Saturday. When we arrived Shirley had us sign the release forms and gave us water and bug repellent. She was very knowledgeable of the horses and had them well taken care of. The ride was beautiful and very fun. I will for sure be telling my friends to come here

Comment: Went with a group of 6 and had a great experience. The trail was really nice and our guide was really knowledgeable. Most of us had ridden before, but it was my daughters first time and they really picked the perfect horse for her, she loved it. I think they do a good job matching the riders to horses and the horses seemed really well cared for. We will definitely go again when it is cooler, but there is plenty of shade along the trail too. They also provided a bottle of water and off spray for bugs for the ride, which was a nice touch.

Comment: Very relaxing trail ride, loved the beautiful shady forest we rode through. Shirley was knowledgeable and friendly and you can tell takes good care of her multitude of animals which came to say hi and get pets from us. It was exciting having the chance to trot and canter at times although most of our horses were inclined to go slow and were hard to get moving faster. But I also may have just been too nice to my horse. All in all felt very safe and had a great time here!

Comment: From calling and setting up our ride, to getting out on the trail Shirley’s attention to detail and patience with our group was greatly appreciated. We were all (a group of 6) inexperienced riders and she really took the time to explain what to do. She had little saddle bags for us to place our phones in, with water and mosquito spray which was really thoughtful. The horses were great and the ride through the property was wonderful. Shirley had great stories to tell, and was very personable and knowledgeable. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the entire experience from beginning to end. For the price, time spent, and expertise we feel like got an amazing deal!!! Thank you Shirley, we will definitely be back 🥰

Comment: My daughter has been asking me to take her horse back riding for sometime now. I was lucky enough to leave a message for Ms. Shirley yesterday to call me back. About 8:00pm she told me that a three people slot has opened. I quickly told her to put us in for 1:15pm. We arrived at 11:30 am just to be sure of our time. When we started the riding on the trails the excitement kicked in. We recommend this experience to everyone. We are looking forward for another experience with Them when we return next month.

Comment: We had an amazing ride. The horses are true trail ride horses, they do what the leader does which makes it easy to take a beginner or for a nice day date. The owner was friendly and professional. She knew her horses well and we felt very safe. Dont expect glamour, but expect to experience nature and the animals she loves. I recommend bringing your horse an apple for a thank you kiss, they earn it. She provided helmets, water and bug spray which was very kind.

Comment: The owner was amazing! You can tell she has a passion for animals and do anything for them! She has so many stories and she is so amazingly smart. I could sit and talk with her for days. The trail ride was amazing. There were storms coming so we had to head back in early and barley missed the rain but I was given a discount because my ride was cut a little short. Ive never had someone do that before so that was nice. The horses were great. None of them spooked at all even when the storms started coming in. The owner is the kindest person Ive met and I would love to come back again. By far the best trail ride Ive ever been on!

We are so grateful to have been able to go horse back riding at this location.They have beautiful horses and a knowledgeable guide which she is so in love and passionate with what she does is inspiring plus that takes you through beautiful nature trails.We researched for this experience and where we planned to go did not work out. We found this place last minute through google maps. We aren’t from the area so we had never heard from it. But now that we know that this treasure exist we will be definitely owning back. And bringing other people to experience what we did.Very affordable $40 for One hour and a half. We saw so many other places that it is $50 for 45 minutes. So the pricing was a plus for the experience.

Most places around is more expensive and you just ride 30 mins. Shirley’s ranch give to me and my family the most wonderful time interacting with the horses and the nature.

They seem to match the horse with the level of horse experience you have. She had a blast. The trails were great and the horses looked healthy. Miss Shirley was a good hostess and trail guide. Comment: Wonderful trail and horse trainer, I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!!. Totally will come back and this is the only horse trail ride I really enjoy(I am an experienced rider). Trail rides is Awesome and super fun. The trainer gives everyone an opportunity to trot and canter. She individually teaches you basic riding skills and how to ask for each gait. The ride is goes over 1.5 hours and the trail is a beautiful view of Florida for ONLY $40. It is covered by shady trees and the sun can never get to you. Horses are a bit lazy and slow. All other animals at the farm are calm and very well trained(Tons of Dogs and cats!!). Wonderful opportunity, only place I will trail horse back ride!!

Natural Florida trail with shady forest and palmetto fields would be nice year round. Wonderful family activity and fun time. Safely conscious, knowledgeable guide takes you on 1.5 hr ride.
