Comment: What a great trail ride my daughter and I had today! I have always had horses and have ridden at a lot of places, and this is one of my favorites. Everything was perfect! The horses, the property we rode, the scenery, the owner, Abby, and our guide, Marcy, were all awesome and made our experience well worth the hour drive to get there. We cannot wait to go back and plan to very soon. We highly recommend Lazy H Ranch!

I got to tell ya Whiskey, the horse I rode, is a beautiful and majestic horse and as his characteristic so is his skill in handling as well. Abby taught my siblings and I everything we need to know on riding horses and the DOs and Donts that make you and the horse comfortable when doing so.I was nervous at first, then super excited, and finally glad I had the chance to visit Lazy H Ranch thanks to my aunt. Definitely will recommend all my friends and the rest of my family to come by and check it out. Its not everyday you get to see horses grazing together happily and then ride them too. Give it a try and I promise Abby will make it a wonderful experience for you and your family.

Comment: I have done multiple rides with Abby as a tourist and now as a resident of Florida. She has a great barn wonderful horses and is so lucky to have accessible to suck a beautiful property. Morning or evening rides are both beautiful in their own way. She is full of Florida information on history, nature, gators and of course horses. The experience is worth every penny especially when you see the pictures she gives with is such a nice bonus. Not like other companies selling a photo package.Thanks again Abby see you again in June.

Comment: I’m a trail guide in NY and had a great time seeing some of the beautiful sites Florida has to offer while on horseback. Abby was great and very informative on the history of FL and it’s rich cattle land. The sunset trail was well worth the money and fairly reasonable at that. The horses were in great shape and the barn and property was clean and welcoming. (I’ve taken trail rides at several places in the US and sometimes pictures can be deceiving but this definitely was not one of those times.) The trails are beautiful and horses and well cared for. Would definitely recommend coming here for an experienced rider or one with no experience at all if in the Orlando/Kissimmee area.

Comment: Did not know there were 2 “Lazy H” in the greater Central Florida area. We went to this one which was the wrong one, but they were super warm and welcoming. Was not expecting to be treated as friendly as we were by showing up to the wrong location outside of their normal operating hours. Abby, the owner, took the time to listen to us, and even let us feed a horse and play with a huge rabbit! Outstanding service, and friendliness, and would be first place to call for next time we are looking for horse riding.

Comment: What a memorable experience for our entire family! Each person (ages 9-41) was matched up perfectly with a horse that fit their experience. From our guides, Lighting and Lawson, the scenery, the stories on the trail and the horses, we will never forget this. At first we were nervous because half the group were first time riders, but Lawson and Lightening made us comfortable and made everyone feel at ease almost immediately. We enjoyed Central Florida’s beautiful natural landscape (oak trees covered in Spanish moss, cabbage palm trees, longleaf pine trees, blackberry bushes) and spotted American bald eagles, garden snakes, and sandhill cranes. Thanks to a property tax increase approved by Osceola County residents to stave off encroaching development, we were able to enjoy trails through the Twin Oaks Conservation Area.

Comment: Incredible experience! Took my fiancé for her birthday, while we are both huge animal lovers, we had little to no experience riding. Abby was incredibly responsive and knowledgeable from first contact and instantly made us feel at home when we arrived. I was incredibly impressed that they limit themselves to one ride a day, by appointment only and don’t do tours on the weekend, the health and quality of life of the horses are obviously a top priority. Abby is super accommodating for pictures throughout the whole tour. We learned so many great facts about the area and Florida as a whole and we will definitely be recommending to others and coming back!

We are horse farmers from Iceland, and really wanted a good insight into the horse world in Florida/USA, with western riding, and farming and everything. Abby was the most wonderful host, was very thoughtful in giving us the best experience, great communications through emails on beforehand (shes busy with rodeos and more so give her a few days to answer). The horses are immensely well behaved and trained, we were really impressed. We were a family of four there (the youngest one being 14), weve grown up on horses but not horses like these, and the horses were fun, ready to think independently (not just following the tail in front of them), great horses. The nature is so unspoiled and beautiful and peaceful, totally another world, next door to the business of the Orlando area. This was simply just perfect.P.S. Thank you Lightning for joining us, you are a gem in all ways.

Comment: Cannot recommend this lovely family run ranch enough! They only take the horses out once a day - keeping them fresh and well cared for! As well as rescue horses they have show horses which they regularly show - all of which are American quarter horses.Great experience for novices and advanced riders a like especially if you want to try western style riding. Really knowledgeable folks who give you a great talk on the history of the area as from a cattle ranchers POV.Fantastic way to see Florida and my favourite part of my holiday!!

Comment: If you are in the Orlando area, and want to try something other than theme parks, I highly recommend Lazy H Trail rides. I have two young daughters that had begged me for months to go horseback riding. Since we would be in the Orlando area, I decided to surprise them with the ride. Here is our experience:Reservation: The ranch owner (and our guide) Abby was fantastic and very easy to work with. I simply emailed her requesting a date and she emailed be back within 24 hours.The Ranch: Easy to find using Google maps. About a 35 minute drive from downtown Orlando. The ranch is beautiful and very well maintained.The Ride: My daughters had zero horseback experience prior to this ride. Abby took time introducing them to their horses and gave them a very easy to understand tutorial. Abby was also very patient in answering any questions my daughters had (as they were excited and a little nervous). The ride itself was beautiful. We took trails in the Twin Oaks Park/ Conservation area. The trails took us under shaded mossy oaks and along a lake. During our ride, Abby gave us a history lesson of the area that was very informative (even for my young daughters).The Horses: Our horses were Chevy, Breyer and Apache. These horses were gentle, kind and very well behaved. We could not have asked for a better experience. Following our ride, my daughters asked if they could help tend to the horses. Abby let them help with washing the horses and it really made their experience that much better!Conclusion: We had a memorable day at the Lazy H Ranch. Of all the things we did in the Orlando area, this is the one my daughters talked about the most.

Comment: My family had a wonderful time at this ranch. We were visiting with family and were looking for something not the norm for tourists to do. My daughter loves horseback riding so we contacted Abby. And we couldn’t be happier we did. Abby is absolutely great! The horses love what they do and are extremely well cared for. They aren’t over utilized for consumer riding which is probably why they love what they do. The scenery is just beautiful. Abby gives some interesting history during the ride and she took some fantastic photos of our family. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again. Can’t say enough good things. They have a very personal touch.

Comment: I visited Lazy H as part of a grand daughter’s birthday party. I highly recommend this farm. The children loved the pony rides, petting zoo and playground. Nice people!

Comment: My five stars does not even begin to do justice for this OUTSTANDING place. I Loved the Horses, Trail, Scenery, Atmosphere, 2nd to none Host. This is just a wonderful all all-round Ranch. My wife and I had a wonderful time, and will do it again. I dont just Highly Recommend The Lazy H Ranch for a Trail ride, but if you want a once in a lifetime peaceful adventure, then you have to get in on this. I will ride again!!

Comment: Wonderful place, great host and beautiful horses. A great break from the theme parks and madness of Orlando to the stunning views around the lake. Highly recommended, I went during June last year and would love to do this again on my next visit to Florida.

Comment: I love abby! My boyfriend and I had so much fun. She was so pleasant, caring, and very thoughtful of our safety. She took her time explaining the history of the ranch, and also took her time to take some very nice pictures for us. Definitely will be back on our next occasion!

Comment: Fun relaxing trail ride, our guide Abby was very nice and helpful. I rode Chevy, he was a bumpy ride but a nice horse. I am not a horse person but we got along great. I would recommend this place for anybody.

Comment: What a beautiful tranquil place. Came here with my buddy for a casual ride. The owner is a sweetheart, shes so nice and had our horses ready to go. The trail was so beautiful and it was a great day. I would definitely come back here again. Highly recommend coming here.

Comment: I had such a wonderful time here. The owner Abby was so friendly and informative from beginning to end. If you love horses, I definitely recommend the 2hr Total Experience! Youll get to do it all; brush, saddle, ride, bathe, etc Apache was the best horse ever. 💖 And the trail is just beautiful and peaceful. Im definitely going back.
