Comment: My adult daughter and I had the pleasure of riding here. We signed up for the swimming ride but unfortunately there was a tree down on the trail and we were unable to reach the swimming area. The guide was FANTASTIC! Definitely tried their best to move that tree. It was still a beautiful ride and would definitely recommend. I hadnt been on a horse in 20 years and was a bit nervous, but the horses were wonderful! 💜

Comment: My husband and I booked a private trail ride along with the swimming excursion for our ninth anniversary. The owner and trail guides are all very sweet and accommodating, as well as the horses all very laid-back and chill.The trail is very nice and serene with not a single motor sound to be heard. The swimming was amazing in a natural spring and it was very interesting swimming with the horses. Even myself as an experienced equestrian had a blast in the water. It was also very fun and exciting for my husband who is less horse savvy but he had an incredible time and we talk about it often. Also I will add that I absolutely adore that we got to walk, trot and canter. Definitely an all-around horse experience ☺️I also absolutely love how there was a second guide bringing up the rear, who was able to take photos for us the entire time. If you are like me and your groups designated photo taker then you know the frustration of having to miss out on certain aspects to take pictures lol It was very refreshing to be able to fully enjoy everything and still get some wonderful photos of my husband and I. They were even kind enough to send all the photos over to us after.Absolutely worth every penny spent and I eagerly await the next anniversary or event that we can use to go back and take another ride and dip! If youre looking for a no drama relaxed trail ride then definitely book a trip with Makin Trails 🏇

Comment: My wife and I had a great time with Sadie and Dylan. I have never established a relationship with horses but they are so well trained and experienced that I didnt really need to do anything to control them. The baby goats and Maya the dog were extra added benefits. Totally recommend the Makin Tracks crew.

The part at the river with the horses as well as the many authentic exchanges with our guide are simply unforgettable. I recommend it if youre in the area, its a timeless experience not to be missed!

Comment: This was such a great experience! My parents took me horseback riding as a birthday gift and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. It was my first time riding, and our tour guides Sadie and Connor (and the dog, Maya) were extremely friendly, helpful, and fun to talk to. The horses were beautiful and well behaved! Everything was easy to set up and everyone we talked to was very welcoming. We all had a wonderful time, totally recommend!

This was my husband and I first experience riding horses 🐎 and it was a great experience and environment and the owners were amazing with the experience. I would definitely recommend them and we will have to go back in the future again. Because like I said for my first time that was peaceful and enjoyable.

Comment: Called kind of last minute to plan a surprise trail ride for my spouses birthday . We were planning to be in Fort McCoy and this would have been the perfect ending to a birthday get away. I had a nice talk with the owner on the phone and was able to make reservations easily. We arrived at the farm, met our guide and we were off. The horses were extremely well behaved and gentle. The thing I liked the most was the fact that the ride was catered to your desire. From a novice rider to very experienced, your needs will be met. The two hour ride was perfect and we had a blast. Our trail guide was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend Makin Tracks. Thank you ladies for a lovely afternoon.

Comment: We had an amazing experience! Our guide, Cody, was very knowledgeable and a great guy. We chatted the entire two hours of our beautiful ride through the Ocala National Forest. They not only do trail rides, but they’re also a horse rescue, and they’re dedicated to the care of their horses. I would highly suggest this place for rides for the whole family!

Comment: We had a good time, I got to ride on bones with my daughter and he was a good boy. Our guide Tim was cool people and knew his stuff. If you haven’t rode a horse you owe it to yourself to try it with the fam.
