Comment: We had our daughter’s 5th birthday celebrated here, and it was great! The two hours riding time with 2 laps per kids was enough for 14 kids we had! Will recommend to anyone.

Comment: I am an USHJA certified trainer, I own and run another professional riding facility across the Georgia line. I have know Valeria and Julia for many years! I have leased and sold them several of my personal string of lesson horses, trusted them 100% to send my daughter to their AWESOME riding camps. Their program they have worked very hard over the years to build based on true horsemanship knowledge, correct riding foundation, all while building those barn family friendships! All the skills they teach show through at not only Pony Club but local and regional horse shows. They also take excellent care of their horses, or I wouldn’t have sent any of mine over the years. I highly recommend to anyone in the Florida area.

Comment: I found Moccasin Stables after starting graduate school at FSU and wanting to get back into riding. Little did I know that that was going to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. Not only did I fall in love with riding again but Val and Julia made my dreams come true when they helped me find Frazier. My horse is quirky and has a big personality but Val and Julia stood by us and gave us the support and instruction we needed to become a team. Val taught me ride him in a way that works for both of us. I boarded here for years until I recently moved for work and I really felt like part of the family. Even though I am no longer there I know I could call Julia and Val if I ever needed help and they would do whatever they could for Frazier and I. That is the type of people they are. Frazier and I miss you and are so grateful for all the love, care, and support through the years!

Comment: My absolute favorite stable!! Everyone is super friendly and kind at this barn and it is one of the few stables that doesn’t have a crisis or drama occurring amongst the students. The horses here are the sweetest and the trainers and owners are wonderful and knowledgeable people.I have both been a student and employee here and cannot rave enough about how much I love being at Moccasin Stables!! If you want the best horse riding experience for your children…book your lesson now!!

Comment: We have had the most wonderful experience at Mocassin Stables! My 14 year old loves it here and will not go anywhere else. The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about what they do, and it shows in the way they work with their horses and students. The environment is open and accepting, and everyone made me feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door.The horses at Mocassin Stables are so well-cared for, and its clear that they are truly loved by their trainers. My daughter has learned so much during her time here, and she has become a better rider as a result. They offer Pony Club which has taught my daughter so much about caring for her own horse.Val is the best horse trainer I have every known. Our horse would not load in the trailer. Val has been working with her for just a week and she has improved by leaps and bounds already.I cannot recommend Mocassin Stables highly enough. If youre looking for a place to ride where youll feel supported, challenged, and inspired, this is the place for you. The trainers are amazing, the horses are amazing, and the community is amazing. Definitely give it a try!

Comment: Moccasin is by far the best stables at which my daughter has ridden in Tallahassee! The owners and instructors are very caring and knowledgeable about proper English style riding and they take the time to not only teach good horsemanship, but set a great example of it in how they care for their lesson horses and boarded horses - all of which were very important to me when I was looking for a better place for her to ride. If you’re looking for a snooty barn where the atmosphere is dictated by sassy and judgmental people, then Moccasin is not for you. But if you want a friendly, encouraging, competent atmosphere, where you know your child feels safe, encouraged, inspired and learns the ins and outs of high-quality English riding, then Moccasin is the place. My daughter just finished her first week of summer camp at Moccasin and won’t stop talking about it she loved it so much!

The only regret I have, is not finding this place sooner. Comment: Very nice stables and farm. Wished the jump arena was a little less sloped, didnt have trees in the middle of it, the sand wasnt as deep and the jumps were spaced better. Other than that. The place is great.

They run an awesome camp where kids are not just given a tacked up horse thats ready to ride but are given the full equine experience of caring for the horses..feeding, cleaning stalls, grooming, riding, cooling down and putting away. Would recommend Moccasin Stables to anyone wanting to introduce their child to the world of horsemanship.

Comment: If you are looking for a safe and fun afterschool program as well as learning how to ride horses, Moccasin Stables provides all of that and so much more! Julia is an amazing person and caregiver who owns the stables and will teach your child patience, problem solving, and conflict resolution alongside riding horses. They will learn how to clean the horse, ride the horse, and get to play outside for hours! My son comes home exhausted after horse camp! I highly recommend her program!
