Comment: What a great experience! I have always loved horses, and wanted to celebrate my birthday by going horseback riding, so we booked a trail ride at Mustang Moon. Michelle was extremely knowledgeable and she and her staff went above and beyond to help make it a special experience for my family and I. The horses are beautiful and so well taken care of and we had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the ride so much that we booked a second ride the following day and we definitely plan to visit again in the near future! Thank you, Michelle!

The terrain is diverse and beautiful! You will go on some dirt roads to get there, but they are well maintained and add to the experience! Comment: Couldn’t have had a better experience from start to finish. Our group consisted of 6 of us, one being my 10 yr old nephew which was very nervous at first. None of us had prior experience but Michelle made sure to match each horse with each of us and making sure we all felt comfortable before going on the trail. She explained everything and made sure we understood. Her life is horses and you can tell just by the way she is with them and you can truly see how much she enjoys doing this. She was so pleasant and so much fun to be around. Her horses are all beautiful and well behaved - you can see all the love they get. The trail was so beautiful too. We had a magical experience. My nephew which was nervous at first loved it so much and can’t wait to go back to school to tell her his friends about it. We can’t wait to go back in spring. Thank you so much for a perfect day.

Comment: Great place for a trail ride. We did an hour long ride through the woods. Didnt see another person on the trail other than our group which was great. All of us were beginners and had no issues at all. The horses all well trained and behaved. Michelle is an excellent host and guide. She is eager to teach you about the horses, her history in the area and about all the plant life on the property and surrounding area. I would highly recommend this location versus others that are more easily accessible on the main roads... It does require you to drive on some bumpy dirt roads to get here but the roads are well maintained.

Comment: We had a great time. And I got to ride 2 days in a row! Ms. Michelle and her team were great. We took 3 littles with us (5, 7,9) and not only did they have their own horses but Ms. Michelle made sure they felt comfortable riding before we went anywhere. 100% going to do this again. Love being able to give back to a rescue so they can continue doing what they love. All the horses have their own personality and you can just feel the love that she gives to them.

Comment: I truly enjoyed our experience with Michelle tonight. She was so patient and informative, especially about how to work with the horse rather than make the horse work, which is very important. She pointed out native plants that can be used for various things and was up to date on animal care and behavior, you can tell it comes naturally to her which is a beautiful thing. The horses were healthy and not pre-tacked which is also very cool because they are not being overworked. She had various chickens, cats, tadpoles, and plants that were all very cool to see. As far as the ride, the horses were extremely well behaved and Michelle makes sure that the horses are comfortable and safe, and is so gentle and patient with them. I didn’t see any signs of stress in the horses at all which is extremely rare for horse rental places. It was amazing. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that is capable of respecting animals. If I’m ever back in Florida, I will definitely stop by to see Michelle.

Comment: We went to Cedar Key/Tampa area on a whim and didn’t realize we were visiting during spring break. My wife had her heart set on riding and no one else would even talk to us without an appointment. Mustang Moon worked with us and told us to join them anyway and they’d make room. Got to spend down time talking to the owner/operators and learned about all the work they do with injured/abandoned horses. Next time we’re in the area (even if we’re an hour or two away) and we want to go riding, this is the place for us.

Deep in the beautiful woods, surrounded by knowledgeable people and most importantly, with people that care about your experience. All of the horses are healthy, happy and incredibly well-behaved. If you need an escape from the outside world, take a solo ride with Michelle through the quiet trails and enjoy your peace. If you want to show your friends how truly cathartic horseback riding can be, bring them along! Call Mustang Moon with minimally 24 hours notice and Im almost positive whatever youre looking for, theyll accommodate. They also do parties, weddings, moon light rides and everything in-between. Comment: On 3/4/18 myself and a few friends had the pleasure of visting and riding on the trails. Our horses were Lucy, Spice, Smokey and Melissa. This was an awesome experience. I cant speak highly enough of Ms. Michelle she was truly amazing and made the experience so much more wonderful.
