Comment: Wesley was the best tour guide on our kayak tour! We were the only two (plus Wesley) on the tour and we enjoyed our time so much; it was an added surprise to learn above the miners, the caves, bobcats, bats and rock formations. Kayaking with Wesley as our guide was like being with an old friend we hadn’t seen in a while. Wesley knew SO MUCH about everything out there; that definitely made the tour even more awesome plus a handful of really great jokes! We had zip lined within the last 5-6 years and absolutely loved it, our initial intention was to zip line with our friends but then we found out we were expecting so our friends went zip lining & we kayaked since I am 18 weeks along. My safety and comfort was very important to all staff which meant so much to my husband and I. We will always recommend The Canyons to all looking for a fun family adventure!

Comment: Went on a trail ride at Canyon Ranch today. It was the best day ever! The staff is excellent. They are very professional and our guides were just outstanding. The facility is new and very clean. They select a horse they know you will be comfortable with and give you great instructions on how to handle them from beginner riders to advanced. The terrain was the best I have ever experienced. There were beautiful lakes and luscious trees and trails to delight any rider. They even gave out a certificate at the end and let me give the horse a goodbye treat. Thank you all for an excellent experience and lasting memories!

Don’t worry if you’re a beginner like us, the guides made it feel safe and were very patient with us while we learned. After the first couple nervous zips, we were having A BLAST!!! Comment: My retired parents live in Ocala and I grew up in Orlando. Im now in Seattle, and visit often but have never seen a place like The Canyons Zip Line anywhere and I have definitely not seen any place like this in Florida!My father (who is in his mid-70s) and I went on the horseback ride/tour. This was so much fun! We had two guides who were awesome. Megan, our guide up front, and Morgan, who brought up the rear and our photographer, shared a lot of history of the area - even pointing out old tracks that the miners used while mining limestone. Megan filled us in on local wildlife and taught us a thing or two about horses as well. I wish I had more time to talk with Morgan about her rodeo days! She took over 70 awesome pictures!Ill admit that I was nervous being on a horse - but I got to ride a gentle one named Travis and my father was on Toby - who was equally as gentle. Needless to say, we had no problems to speak of.I plan on bring in the whole family in the Spring when we visit Ocala again - this time to do some zip lines! Thank you so much M & M!

Comment: We visited this place as a family in May of this year. I cannot recommend this enough. If you live in the Central Florida area, this is some of the most beautiful scenery that I have seen. It was a former rock quarry that when they dug too deep filled up with water. The elevation changes are very unique for the central Florida area. The water is a beautiful blue green. Due to the amount of minerals in the area. You can easily spend a couple of hours on a tour or a do a shorter one for maybe 45 minutes. The staff was incredibly friendly and they had a great safety training for the family. Definitely okay for younger kids. They have a weight limit of 280 lb so keep that in mind.My rating system consists of a 3-star being exactly what I expected and neither good nor bad. A 4 means something was extra special whether it was service, food, staff, etc., and a 5 means I was blown away. A 2 star rating was disappointing with no offer to correct the experience and a 1-star rating was terrible

Comment: Wow what a spontaneous trip. I have never been zip lining before and I assure you this will not be my last! From the moment we walked in we were greeted in sync by two woman. (I’m not sure if it was coordinated or not but it was pretty funny none the less, I loved it). We had a great time and met some great people ! The guides Andie and Ryan were simply amazing !!!! They made us feel comfortable the whole time, great laughs for sure. I felt like I’ve known them for a while just because they were so easy to talk to and hold conversations with. However we promised ourselves we would do it again and we did. Canyons zip line was amazing Ryan and James our guides did a great job of preparing us for our zip line adventure. It’s a must if you have never done this before. Canyons over different levels of difficulty from the beginner to the advanced. Thank you Ryan and James for making this an amazing experience.

Comment: Definitely a must do! I do recommend you to have a reservation on weekends as it gets pretty busy and fill out the waiver online before you arrive (makes checkin really smooth). I booked a week in advance to secure my spot. Zeter and TJ, were my guides, safety was their first priority (which I loved) and then the jokes, which were actually pretty good. The whole experience was a 10/10. There is practice zip line where you learn the basics and there are water stations along the way. The views were pretty amazing. The zip lines progress in length and speed the further along you go.

Couldnt brave the heights for ziplining but definitely heard them along the horseback riding trail.Our guide Kate was excellent at showing us how to direct the horses, and kept us entertained and informed the entire way. Comment: I loved this place so much i didnt do the zip lining but we did horseback riding and omg that was a great experience so much scenery and the guides where great thank you to lia and kate and also toby. Toby was so pretty and calm i didnt need to guide him because he was following where ever the guide went. He knew when to stop which way to go overall the best horse i was so happy that i got toby because he was so so calm he didnt need bathroom breaks and he didnt stop eat the plants or think about it today was very hot but they have water at the barn. All the horses where beautiful and the tour guides where so helpful and kind i definitely recommend! Loved it thank you so much.

Comment: We stayed at a State Park in Keystone Heights and drove down on Saturday for our tour. We had a fabulous time! Rye and TJ were awesome. They were very easy to chat with and kept coming up with ways to learn more about the people on their tours. Things are fast paced, but they start your off with tiny zip lines that progressively get longer and faster. Not once did we feel unsafe or uncared for. Rye and TJ kept making sure our lines and harnesses were as they should be and kept reassuring us that we were doing great. I was glad that we had them looking after us, and just had fun. The 1100 ft line looked scary, but was so fun! Such a beautiful park. Keep up the great work yall. And buy the digital pictures prior, made it so easy, and we got all of the ones from our whole group.PS - dont forget to tip your guide!

Comment: This is a must do! If you’ve ever thought about zip lining, this is the place to do it! Leave your fears behind, the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and safe; that is their first priority. Every step of the way Leilani and CT made us feel comfortable, secure and at ease. My boys (12 & 13) and I did the Treetop Express (5 zip lines), we all wished we would’ve done the Big Cliff Canyon (9 zip lines), so we are definitely coming back!!Later in the day we came back for the Kayaking Tour, Jeremy was great! Comment: We had a great experience on our zip line and horseback riding excursions. Zip lines however are brief experiences and you run through them all pretty quickly. It is a Neat little exhilaration rush for some quick photos. They also do allow you to keep personal items such as your phone at your own risk and discretion. We took our own photos although they did offer the ones they take of you along the way. Horseback riding was a nice tour of the grounds and canyons. The horses where well taken care of and friendly. Everyone we encountered had a great attitude and all employees seemed friendly.

If you dont make reservations, you will have to wait to see if there is a cancellation. We had reservations for noon and our tour started right on time. Our guides, Marcus and Robbie were phenomenal! Comment: Mary and Payton were amazing guides. This was a birthday surprise for my fiance who had this on his bucket list. He does have a phobia of heights but he overcame it and went through with it. He was so happy and still shaking once it was all done but he said it was an amazing experience. The staff here is fantastic! We will definitely coming back for horseback riding.

Comment: Had a blast here I would totally recommend 10 out 10. my mom being 65 in her first time on horse she had a blast in it really help ease her mind when see noticed how good the horses are with knowing there surroundings so good in they were so well behaved she had cash the youngest horse out of the bunch in he was awesome 👌 👏. I had Travis in he was really good, me in my mom felt safe in the hands of tour guide ❤️ they were really knowledgeable in didnt mind to answer any questions we had along the way. This place will have us returning for more fun

Comment: Been here multiple times for zip line. Which is always awesome. This time I decided to change it up and do horseback riding. I went this past Monday 7/25/22. Always an amazing experience with this company. First horseback ride of the morning. Had a small group, the tour guides made it super personal. And were able to take extra time with us and answer all our questions. Our tour guides were Julie and Morgan. They were AMAZING! Super super nice. Very helpful, couldn’t have asked for more. I had the privilege of riding Bear. Super sweet and a great ride. All of the horses and staff were professional and delightful at the same time. Highly recommend any activity at this location. I would really love to come back to do one of there full moon tours. That came highly recommended by the staff.

Comment: Such a fun experience! The terrain was great and so were the views. Julie was our awesome guide and it was just our group of four. We rode Nelly, Toby, Ricky, and Dale. Comment: Didnt realize this was the longest, tallest, and fastest zip lines in Florida until after we were finished! Such a great time. I would recommend bringing a go pro or getting the go pro package. It was nice to watch the videos and get all of the pictures at the end. Everyone was really nice and the guides added comedy throughout. We had various ages in our group and everyone still had fun! Christian and Jesus had me cracking up the entire time. Definitely recommend.

Comment: Had a lot of fun! The only thing I would say is that it would be great if they included gatorades and the digital photos in the package price. I think that would have made it over the top worth it.Overall our guides Rye and Sophia were awesome and we had so much fun! What a beautiful view and wonderful adventure!

Comment: We had come to the Canyons Zip Line 10 years ago, and decided to come back for another run! We chose to do the Big Canyon tour with the 9 zip lines. Super pleased with our tour. Lo was awesome, and made the tour enjoyable. Her positive personality and funny comments made the tour great fun. Comment: We were luck to have Kate and Rye as our guides today. They were both amazing! Not only were they funny, but they were fun to be around and easy to joke around with. They made our first time zip lining exciting and helped us get over those first time jitters. I HIGHLY recommend booking a tour here!! I know that we will be back to try out the 9 zip line tour in the near future!

Comment: On Tuesday we did the 1hr, 3 line zip line adventure & what was at first a little nerve wrecking, turned into the most exhilarating & exciting experience. Let just say that Rye & Jeremy, our guides/trainers were pleasant, funny, friendly & totally made the whole experience one to remember. Would def do it again & recommend anyone to make it an experience for themselves.Thursday we did the horseback riding tour w/Cassie & Mandy who also were funny, friendly & sweet. They also walked us through the process & introduced us to our own horses, allowed us to be become friendly w/them & than we were off. Toby, my horse was very well behaved, looked very healthy & appeared to know exactly where he was going & what he was doing, w/the exception that he would like to try to steal some leaf eating on the trail (he’s not supposed to…lol). Overall a wonderful ride & incredible views & history to learn.

Comment: EVERYTHING about this experience was great thanks to the BEST guides - ADRIAN and JULIA. They mixed humor and fun with safety and experience and it was an awesome time! Zipping through trees, canyons and over the water was super cool! When we go again, we will definitely ask for Adrian and Julia as our guides. The booking experience was easy and the staff at the front desk were friendly.

Comment: There are canyons in Florida!! This place was Awesome. It was like being up north but still in Florida. I got a massive horse named Zuse and my friend got one named Rick Flair another big horse. They were both such a smooth ride. The scenery was great and our tour guide rocked!

Comment: We received gift certificates as a gift. We made reservations online which I highly recommend. Front office staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Instructors/guides Rye and Michael were absolutely to life of the experience. They kept things upbeat and entertaining while explaining everything in ways that kept everyone calm and excited. Some customers were apprehensive and they made it an enjoyable experience for everyone no matter their comfort level. So many options. We did the sky high tour which included 3 zips one of which is the highest and longest in Florida! I think 1150 feet high… for the two of us and a GoPro rental it was about $160 total. We definitely recommend this place and we will be returning for additional tours! Thank you for an amazing experience.

The overall process is very simple, my husband and I had a great time, Julia and her partner the energetic gentleman on 9/26/21 were incredible and put all our worries to ease! Comment: It was my first visit with my husband (his second visit). We went horseback riding and it was simply amazing. Riding through the trails and watching the scenery around you is truly a beautiful experience. Our tour guides Megan and Jen were very informative and very clear with the instructions in how to handle the horse. They made sure we were comfortable and have the best overall experience. Surely recommend this place if its your first time. Will definitely go back again for the zipline.
